Kashmir University UG Admission Notification 2023 under NEP-2020
The University of Kashmir has released its admission notification for Undergraduate programs (Regular for Private affiliated Colleges) for the 1st and 2nd Semester Batch 2023. This notification caters to students who have appeared or not appeared in CUET–UG- 2023. The Online Application forms for admission to various Bachelor's programs are now available on the University's official website, www.kashmiruniversity.net, from 18th August 2023 to 28th August 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for Different Courses:
1. Bachelors program with major in Marketing Management / Financial Management / Human Resource Management / Supply Chain Management: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 class examination or equivalent are eligible for admission to this program. CUET candidates need to take the Business Studies / General Test.
2. Bachelors program with Major in Information Technology: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 class examination or equivalent with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications / Information Technology/ Information Practice are eligible for admission. CUET candidates need to take the Computer Applications / Information Practice test.
3. Bachelors program with Major in Computer Applications: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 class examination or equivalent are eligible for admission. CUET candidates need to take the Computer Applications / Information Practice / General Test.
4. Bachelors program with Major in Mass Communication & Multimedia Production: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 class examination or equivalent are eligible for admission. CUET candidates need to take the Mass Media / Mass Communication / General Test.
5. Bachelors program with Major in Accounting and Taxation / Finance / Management: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 class examination or equivalent are eligible for admission. CUET candidates need to take the Accountancy / Book Keeping / General Test.
Online Application Process:
To apply for these programs, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of Kashmir University, www.kashmiruniversity.net.
- Click on the UG Regular Under Graduate (Under National Education Policy-NEP-2020) program for private colleges, session 2023 - 24.
- Fill out the online application form with your choice of available colleges in order of preference.
- Deposit the course fee of Rs. 500/- per Course, with Rs. 50/- chargeable as IT Fee through Online Mode (Non-refundable).
- Submit the auto-generated application form along with self-attested copies of the required documents to the office of Dean College Development Council, University of Kashmir.
Required Documents:
- CUET Score card (for candidates who have appeared in CUET)
- Matriculation Marks Certificate
- Marks Card of 12th Class (Higher Secondary Part-II)
- Domicile Certificate/Last School Attended
- Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable) issued by the competent authority
